It was a great choice for a Thursday evening. We were greeted warmly despite arriving without a reservation. It's a great choice if you want to eat fish. We chose Four Onion, French Mussels and Buffalo Wings for starters. Mussels came in a pot. Taste was not bad but could have been a bit hotter. It was like there was only cream inside. It was very obvious that it was fresh. For main courses we had Beef Short Rib and Lobster and Shrimp Mac. Beef was very tender and tasty. We liked it very much. Service was very nice and attentive. If you want to try seafood add it to your list. Thank you very much Blue Crab Grill team.
One of our favorites in Delaware. Our go to place for a seafood dinner. It was a pleasant late lunch for us on Valentine's day. So glad to see that they did not jack their prices up for this occasion. Samantha our waitress was a delight as she rushed about between tables. My "Baltimore po' boy" hit the spot. The roll toasted to perfection was the highlight. The accompanied bacon and oysters melded together perfectly. I also enjoyed the side of potato salad. A mustard and vinegar German based style. Though a bit out of the way for us folks from Dover it once again proved worth the ride.
We came for a hockey event then found this restaurant. We wanted to order blue crab but we were tricked by the name as they didn’t have blue crab at all. However the soft crab was amazing taste. My wife and children all like it very much! Service is very nice and kind. Highly recommend
Do not let the location or store front fool you. The food is stellar, and the service is extraordinary! The money is put where it matters. No chinzy decor, no fluff. Tables, chairs, and booths are comfortable, bar is intimate, and space for live music. We arrived just before closing after a very long tough week. We asked Melissa for hot tea, mint if there was any, and proceeded to peruse the menu and enjoy the live music. After a few minutes, she arrived with FRESH mint and green tea steeping! THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! She explained that they didn't have mint tea bags, so she improvised. The tea was fantastic! We had the crab Artichoke dip- THE best I have ever had!! Oysters Rockefeller, an amazing Salmon Salad, and a Strawberry Basil drink that was exquisite!! We were never made to feel rushed, and all of the crew were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. Thank you, everyone, for giving us a comforting, delicious end to a very hard week!!
Amazing experience!! We hosted a dinner for about 20 people there for my wife’s birthday and everything went off without a hitch. The managers were very communicative and flexible via email (which I always appreciate), service on the night of the party was excellent. They were very willing to work with us within our budget. Highly recommended for a happy hour and some snacks, full dinner or even a party in their new event space!
Blue Crab Grill Holy smokes awesome food nice location and there service out of this world my host Melissa Was on point she took care of 3 booths and none of them need anything. She was on point. We came from Lancaster Pa cause I found your place on you tube. And I wanted to take wife out for her birthday and anniversary yes my wife was double dipping. But Melissa handle herself in a Professional manner if it was not on the menu she went out of her way to make it happen for her customers. Glasses full at all times. She please and fulfill her customers request. Your cooks mad props to your cooking staff awesome job well done food was excellent. Wings were crispy. Ribs were seasoned to perfection. What more can you ask for? Awesome awesome night. Five thumbs up. We definitely be back. Melissa is a great access to your establishment job Well done, Melissa. We had a wonderful lunch with great food and service. Our server Katie was excellent. We also found the teamwork among the servers was smart and efficient. The young man who seated us and served other tables brought our food to us and provided us with extra napkins. A great experience. We are glad to see the restaurant is being expanded.
